What is a home watch service?
A home watch service is a scheduled visual observation of a vacant or intermittently occupied property. It is designed to identify readily apparent issues and keep the owner informed while away.
Is this the same as a real-estate home inspection?
No. Harmony Home Watch is not performing a buyer/seller home inspection, code inspection, engineering inspection, or warranty service.
Do you check short-term rental properties?
Yes. We provide independent visual property checks for short-term rentals between guest stays, during vacancies, before owner arrivals, and when an owner wants a local set of eyes on the property. This is separate from housekeeping or turnover cleaning.
Is an STR property check a cleaning inspection?
No. Our focus is the visible condition and operation of the property on behalf of the owner. Cleaning and turnover services are separate.
What happens if you find a problem?
We contact you, document what we observed, and discuss the next step. Repairs or contractor work are handled with your authorization.
Can you meet contractors or provide access?
Yes, vendor access and coordination are available on eligible plans and can also be arranged as an additional service.
Do you provide hot tub service for short-term rentals?
Yes. Hot tub care is available as a separate specialty service. Depending on the property's plan, scheduled service may include water testing and balancing, standard maintenance chemicals, cleaning, filter checks, visual equipment observations, photographs and service readings in the client portal.
Do you guarantee that a hot tub will always be ready for guests?
No company can guarantee uninterrupted operation or control how guests use a hot tub. Harmony Home Watch provides scheduled service and documentation, then promptly notifies the owner when unsafe water conditions, damage or equipment problems are observed. Repairs, parts, emergency visits, severe contamination and guest misuse are handled separately.
Is Home Watch the same as property management or a licensed inspection?
No. Harmony Home Watch provides scheduled visual property checks and observations. It is not a buyer/seller home inspection, engineering or code inspection, security service, or substitute for evaluation by an appropriately licensed trade professional. Property management services are not included unless separately agreed to.
Do you guarantee nothing will happen to my home?
No home watch service can eliminate all risk. The purpose is to reduce the time your property goes unobserved and help identify visible issues earlier.
